Recently our team has visited Tirunelveli Town in south India and visited a famous temple called Pittarathi Amman temple worship largely by local people. Many of us have already seen the famous Swamy Nellaiappar Temple. But this temple gives us an entirely different experience.
The Ambal in that Pittapurathu amman temple is very powerful. Many people are coming here to drive away their inner fear. Some people come here for relief from diseases. Water splash on the face is very famous here. After giving Theertha, the holy water is splashed on our face which gives relief to all our inner fears and problems and also our diseases.
Further, a yellow thread is being tied in the devotees hand which is safeguard for their life.(For boys in the right hand and for girls in the left hand )
It is very much shocked for our team, that a lady from another religion is also in the line for her turn for the thread with her child. People are thronging with their 1 month old baby to many adults.
We interviewed one devotee and the reply is " The Power of Ambal is very much and the inner fears have been disappeared when our children get the water splash"
Ya ! Our team is surprised and we also accept Belief is greater than all medicines.
