All of us very well know about the famous novel " A tale of two cities" by Charles Dickens. That is about " London and Paris"
In India also Hydrabad and Secundrabad are called Twin Cities.
Now , we wish to introduce to our valuable viewers about the Twin Cities in Tamilnadu . They are Tirunelveli and Palayamkottai.
Yes Friends, Tirunelveli is famous for Halwa. Where as Palayamkottai is called Oxford of India , the education city.
In Tirunelveli Town, Swami Nellayappar Temple is a must see place. The name Tirunelveli has a very good history. Swamy Nellaiappar saved the paddy (Nel in tamil means paddy) to help the people.
The ambal is called " Gandhimathi Amman " is a very powerful Goddess.

RMKV a very famous Textile showroom(87 years old) which almost touches every citizen of Tirunelveli.
with a line "Traditions make trendy" has a big showroom at Vannarapettai. Another Textile showroom Pothys in Town is also attracting lot of people.
Recently " The Chennai Silks and Kumaran Thanga Maligai " also come to the city.
The Oxford of India, that is Palayamkottai houses lot of Schools. Sri Jayendra Swamigal Silver jubilee matriculation Higher Secondary School is one of the best school in Tamilnadu.
